Here here jgarbuz. Casinos were additive to the economy when there were very very few. Now post saturation of casinos everywhere they are extractive to local communities, asmost of the gamblers come from the local populace.
Hence, gamblers anonymous, AA, spousal abuse programs are all chock-a-block with local folks in these communities. As to looking out for their shareholders, per Bronson, Wynn & Trump have stifffed their legal creditors-the bond holders, while stock holders rolled the dice and lost.

Casinos produce NOTHING but misery, except for a few jobs based on taking candy from suckers and redistributing it to the owners and investors and mobsters. Okay Casinos can bring in dollars from tourists, but once casinos become ubiquitous, they cancel each other out. Ultimately they only spread misery amongst the hopeless masses.
