President Barack Obama is scheduled to speak about the economy in a press conference at 10:15 this morning.
how embarrassing this guy is... uhh.. bu.bububbu..uh....yeeee eee uh... just more campaign talking points(if you call them points) and scolding of questions...
The "Wizard of Uhhs" should be reminded not to show up late to a press conference he himself called and than have nothing to say. The Jedi Mind Trick routine doesn't work anymore even with a credulous press that is tired of being fobbed off and taken for granted.
The arrogance of the man to arrive late as usual to a press conference he called, for the purpose of stabilizing his base and attempting to confuse the rest of America. How many of the limited questions asked were pre-scripted by the White House. Truth is not a virtue of this administration. Perhaps questions should have been directed to the recent and continuous national security threatening leaks, but that might put obama under more pressure to show some semblance of leadership.
Unionized or not, they are our fellow citizens. To say that you don't want do your part in helping your neighbor, your brother, or whatever shows how terribly divided this country has become. The President knows he cant put the weight on the lower and middle class. You can only squeeze us for very long, that is why there has been a push for the wealthiest americans to increase their percantage of taxes so they are more in line with rates average citizens pay-- And this is Socialism? No its equality.
It is in my opinion that yes we do need more jobs, and as the president said, most of the jobs come from small business owners, but to think that the big corporations in the private sector will take care of all the unemployment troubles, is to be wishful thinking. We have seen it for years now that in order for corporations to make the most profit they need to keep their costs down, so they are going to keep outsourcing all jobs.
the answer to the first question is longer than his statement...what a way to occupy time to avoid the tough questions that should follow. Does he think we're idiots?
What a joke our president is! So... it's ALL Europe's fault. But, we should pay billions for a jobs bill to employ all those unionized workers (who can then send 2% of the $ back to the democrat party via) to build stuff that we don't need? What we need are REAL jobs in PRIVATE SECTOR America, unionized or preferably NOT, making stuff we need and can afford... not more Socialist dogma and Ponzi schemes.
