Bloomberg: I Didn't 'Bother' to Read 911 Report

Mayor Michael Bloomberg is saying he "didn't even bother" to read a report by city-hired consultants that found New York City's overhauled 911 system plagued by delays and errors.
Bloomberg said at a Tuesday appearance that his administration takes the $500,000 report "very seriously" and is examining all of its recommendations - including a suggestion that the city begin timing its emergency-response times from the moment a 911 call is placed.
But he also seemed to question the accuracy of the report's findings - saying, "They can make up anything they want to say."
The consultants found the city's fire and police departments weren't collaborating as much as they could, but Bloomberg said the two agencies "are working well together."
