Musical 'Once' Leads 2012 Tony Award Nominations

On Tuesday, Tony- and Emmy-winning actress Kristin Chenoweth and Emmy- and Golden Globe-winning actor Jim Parsons announced the nominees for the 66th annual Tony Awards.

The musical "Once" got the most nominations -- 11. Both musicals "The Gershwins’ Porgy and Bess" and "Nice Work If You Can Get It" got 10 nominations, followed by the play "Peter and the Starcatcher," which landed nine.

They nominate ◦Michael Cerveris, for "Evita", but they completely forgot the performance of Ricky Martin in the siad play. The meat of the play was R. Martin. The Tony Nominating Committee were not looking or enjoying the same musical myself and a full house were enjoying. R. Martin delivered a performance equal if not surpassing the nominees the T.N.C nominated this year as "Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical". Snub is not the word for this oversite.
