I didn't know R Dratch before the interview. I liked the episode very much. This is my first time commenting. Thank you.

I read her memoir. It was frank and funny and candid. Even if you haven't heard of her, it is very insightful about the real struggles of a human being living in this nutty city.

me from here

she's kinda funny and great boobs. you can almost hear the boobs through the radio.
she played the interview pretty straight which i like, i don't care for interviews where the interviewee is basically in character the whole time.
i also get the impression lenny either didn't read the book or just skimmed it.

Rachel Dratch is a brilliant comedian and performer. Just because you’ve never heard of her does not mean the rest of us don’t deserve to hear what she has to say.

Dear Leonard,
Your show was the only one I suggested my grand children would listen to. It was not so long ago that your guests pleasantly differed from the guests of other shows, especially from SoundCheck.
Just recently, the verbal litter in form of “you-know”, “I-mean”, “like” was not heard on your show as frequently as now.
Is this trend of cultural degradation so irresistible?
I hope you will reexamine this issue and return to your previous exemplary standards.

Best wishes,
Ephraim Lior, Brooklyn

One good comment for a reliable performer and demonstrated survivor.

I don't know who she is, but I am not impressed in the least. I wish LL would avoid interviews like this.
