Spanish bassist Alexis Cuadrado has taken Federico Garcia Lorca's book, Poet In New York, and set the poetry to music.

"It was hard for me to tackle this poetry. And it's like ... How am I going to write music to this? And when I thought about it as protest poetry, the light bulb went on and it was like, 'I have to write protest songs,' and that's when I got on fire," Cuardrado told Soundcheck.
