WATCH | Obama Campaign Releases 'Road We've Traveled' Documentary

Thursday, March 15, 2012

As WNYC reported on Monday, Republicans are taking full advantage of YouTube to get the word out about their campaign messages. Now, it's the Obama re-election campaign's turn.

On Thursday night, the campaign released The Road We've Traveled, a 17-minute short documentary it produced that looks at President Obama's achievements since he's been in office.

The Road We've Traveled is directed by the Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth and Waiting for 'Superman') and is narrated by actor Tom Hanks. The death of Osama bin Laden and the passage of health care reform are among the events highlighted in the film.

White House Propoganda from a film maker who one sided presents the last 3 years of backwards fingerpointing lunacy. Please.
Take a drive down your streets and find the empty businesses, the high price of food still rising, the economy has been in the tank and still is under the Obama Administrangulation. Continued hopeless change BO has presented has not improved. Another teleprompter term would kill off the spirit of more unemployed, the employed. The emperor has no clothes, and has been the king minus of historical proportions in our history. Long live America, can't wait for the unawakened to be awakened to the fraud in the White House.

Amazing. Unfortunately, we are very short-sighted and most of our population can only see $4.00 / gallon of gas as an indication of how our president is doing in office.

This is the man I voted for, this the man our nation needs.

Too bad the West Wing like fantasy does not match the harsh reality.
Sublime theater is fine until the lights come up and we all return to real life.
All this guy knows is self promotion and that "there is a sucker born every minute".
He must be a great President because they say he is with a cool black and white photo of him with rousing music and he looks like he is having deep thoughts.

It is very reassuring to know and see all the accomplishments that our president has put into action and the bills he fought to get passed come to a head.. cause we as a people need to be reminded of all the great things he has done for the American people..

i am very proud of u mr. president. i have never seen a president who thinks about the less fortunate and middle class so much than this Obama. if america had had this types of leaders, it whould have gone father than this.i urge my friends from the GOP to sincerely put country first and vote for someone who has started a good job for him to continue. refuse to allow cheap politics from mit romney and co. from influencing u and vote massively for obama come this fall. these people have same thinking and behaviour like uncle Bush whose policies will put whole world into economic mess.

It's about time we have an adult with intellect and country first leading our country. What a 180 from the last administration! Absolutely loved it and look forward to casting my vote in November. YES WE CAN!

"If we cant see commonsence, than we want see at all". No more time for politics, racial divide, and the wealthy takes all, while the middle class become the poor. Obama is not perfect, but by far one of the best presidents this country will ever have. Lets start focusing on the positive before we mis change, pray for our country and put your trust in God not man.

I have been saying it from the start of his presidency that Obama is probably the best thing that has happen to America in a long time. It just goes to show that history always seem to repeat itself. We as African-Americans just seem to do it better than anybody else have or will ever do. The first Black Airmen did it better than their white counterparts, the first Black Tank Brigade did it better than their white counterparts, the first Black Navy Seaman did it better than their white counterparts and now The First Black President of the United States have proven that he can and have done it better than his white counterparts. This President is our country's only hope for the future! Has it been an easy 3 years? You bet your life it hasn't, but, look at the numbers, America is on the rise once more. what's all this stuff about "let the auto industry go bankrupt"? I don't think so.....Mr. Romney

Way to go!
FINALLY we have a president who has brains vs. big oil money in his veins.
A president who influences everyone to their highest good for the sovereignty of our country vs. one who wraps himself in the flag while using the influence of others in order to shirk, dodge, and hide out in Louisiana while AWOL.
A president who respects humanity regardless of gender, age, creed, or color vs. one who debases, owns, discounts, uses, humiliates, and denies rights to those seen as less than due to gender, age, creed, color, or socio-economic level.
A president who is authentic.
A president who has integrity.
A president who is intelligent.
A president who knows the value of education, hard work, health care, and walking the talk vs. a president who's worth is measured by his name not his word, the size of his daddy's portfolio not the depth of his character, or how dim his lightbulb is thus increasing the ease with which he can be manipulated, controlled, and made to do the bidding of the righteous, wealthy, minority who cling to the belief that there is only one acceptable skin color, there is only one acceptable religion, and therefore there is only one ruling class.
FINALLY we have a president who has a vision for our country that is FOR ALL - not just a narrow minded, cold hearted, greedy, privileged few.

The people who don't support this President deserve to be poor, homeless, without healthcare and without a job. That's where they'd be if we had not elected Obama.

This is the positive message we've been looking for from a Presidential candidate! After so much negative stuff from the Republican Candidates, here we have the record of our strong, courageous President Obama. He saved our economy from total collapse, improved equality for all,and knocked off bin Laden, and helped get rid of Khadafy on the way.
We just can't allow our dear USA to be run by the types of people running for President on the Republican ticket. All they can come up with it taking away all they can from middle-class America, and passing it up to the 1%. Get out there and VOTE America!!!

the turnaround in jobs grow - again, not "show business".

Was waiting for Ethel Merman to belt out "There's no business like show business" at the end.
Are we really going to fall for this again?
