The local reporters from the individual states were sad. Uninformed, didn't know answers to obvious questions (like why is Santorum having a victory party in a place where he's not on the ballot, and not getting Brian's joke about Georgia being anti-gov't yet having .gov on their license plates. Brian you put them to shame, you need better people to work with!

It was mentioned on the show today that Oklahoma has an overwhelming "conservative" electorate. I think that "hypocritical" electorate would be a more accurate discription. They have the highest divorce rate in the country. See here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/44308315/ns/business-personal_finance/t/oklahoma-tops-list-highest-divorce-rates/#.T1ZoCnmK0dU

What are the features that tend to distinguish so-called conservative states from the moderate and liberal states? I suspect that poverty, ignorance, alcoholism, mean-spirited attitudes toward "others", selective religious principles, and dependence upon national subsidies would all tend to be higher in the conservative states.

I am wondering if Romney would have sewed up the nomination long ago if he weren't Mormon. Having been involved in fundamental Christianity years ago, I was taught that Mormonism is a cult. It is the gorilla in the room that no one wants to talk about.
