Live on Soundcheck: Nick Jonas

Tuesday, February 14, 2012

Nick Jonas got his break singing in a hair salon in New Jersey, waiting for his mom while she got her hair done. Someone suggested the little crooner go see a manager and soon the littlest Jonas brother was on Broadway.

But then he went on tour with his brothers and it was a while before he got back onstage. Now Jonas is 19 years old and playing the leading role in "How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying."

"Being around people who work so hard to master their craft always inspires you to be the best you can be," Jonas said. "The thing about Broadway people specifically is that as well as being a passion for them ... they are also some of the hardest working people in show business."
