thank god someone is looking out for the safety and well being of nyers of all races and religions...

radical islamists are butchering black people in nigeria and murdering innocent women and children in 23 other countires at the moment...(ask copts in egypt, or southern sudanese etc...)

i know it's PC for white leftists to timidly whitewash Islamist terror and to somehow blame Israelis or Jews on evertyhing...

it's a silly distraction, not too mention racist...

the fact is islamist extremism is a growing problem and hiding from it justs fans the flames...

Amazing comment by Silber, admitting the NYPD provides targeting information for the U.S. drone assasination program. He specifically cited fingering U.S. citizens al-awlaki and samir khan, for death.
That's pretty frightening.

Edward, it's not that I didn't "like" your response. It's that you have NOT responded to the question posed. But I'm giving up on this fruitless exchange.

fuva, You didn't like my response? I found your claims one-sided and diversionary.

Non-responsive, Edward. I think you're still confused.

Preventing Islamist terrorism IS a national security issue, and a NYPD issue.

Training NYPD officers is a key part of national security.

Training the public is also a key part of national security - hence the "If you see something, say something" campaign.

Political correctness is what led to the deaths of 13 Americans in Fort Hood by Major Hassan.

Edward, I'm ignoring nothing. Obama's attendance to Rev. Right's church is not a national security issue.

fuva, You are purposely ignoring the elephant in the room.

Islamist inspired terrorism.

Speaking of lying, do you believe that Obama spent 20 years in Rev. Wrights church and never heard anti-American sermons by Rev. Wright?

20 years. He never heard it first hand. Never heard about it from his wife? Never heard it from his fellow parishoners? Never read it in the church newsletter?

Edward, duh. And you are once again not addressing the concern I'm expressing.
Is Paul Browne's lying here of no consequence?

fuva, So "The Third Jihad" accurately describes the terrorist threat and the NYPD is tasked with stopping terrorist attacks BEFORE they are executed.

So, Edward, you provide a link to a wanted sign for Osama? I don't get it. Is your intention to emphasize the reality of the terror threat? If so, I don't require this emphasis. I believe it's real. And to effectively guard against it, we need those on the front lines to be CREDIBLE, which is why Paul browne and Ray Kelly's bold faced LYING is a disservice and LIABILITY. You seem to not get this. Why? Stop confusing the issue here.

Jan. 30 2012 11:51 AM

Mitchell Silber is Jewish. He ignores the real terrorists: The terrorist Israeli government's attacks on the Palestinians.

fuva and Fool from NYC,

This link is for you.

Again, the problem with the "Third Jihad" episode is that Paul Browne LIED about the NYPD's screening of the film to trainees (and we don't even know how many veteran officers watched it) and its participation in the film's production. To not be able to trust the NYPD's word about so sensitive a national security issue is a liability for US.

And, of course, the media -- which largely fell down on the reporting of this issue -- has ceased coverage, and we have no attention span, and so this matter will not be adequately addressed.

The term "Al Qaeda" was first used by the CIA as the code word for all terrorist activity around the world. It was applied to Bin Laden's operation when it fit the propaganda needs of the the multi national corporations to advance their interests in the middle east. Your guest is a propagandist for the multi nationals to justify using US bodies to fight their resource wars around the world and pay for it with the loss of human rights in this country.
Terrorism is anything that threatens Global Corporatism.
