Seriously, progressive Dem. Gov. Granholm... you "appreciate" the point of view of a racist who calls and worries about losing "white privilege"? If you don't recognize that explicit language and disassociate yourself from that, you are an embarrassment to liberals and Americans. This was shocking to hear.

The Administration needs to send a loud directive to high school counselors to steer students toward technical and vocational schools in addition to four-year colleges. Based on my son's experience at a Manhattan high school, guidance counselors are narrowly focused on four-year college as a one-size-fits-all plan for every young person. This approach fails to serve many young people as well as the national interest.

lol auto industry, he we made poopy cars for quite a while, the japanese were making better cars that's why people were buying them, it has nothing to do with labor or unions or whatever. american cars are finally able to compete with other manufacturers on quality.

Wow caller, what a great, progressive, informed question! The governor was largely non-responsive -- surprise, surprise...But the "white privilege" question probably foreshadows critical discourse to come.

He didn't ask about education. He asked about the racism and xenophobia that's on the rise due to economic changes. She's not running for office, why not talk about this? Or is she just gonna repeat the SOTU address word-for-word. Should be an exciting show.

Hi Brian,
I was hoping Jennifer Granholm would run with the woman who is challenging Senator Scott Brown in MA as the first women's ticket for president in 2016. What do you think?

Thanks,
Rachel
