»» Tickets Available! State of the Union watching party on January 24th

Once again, It's A Free Country is teaming with the Story Pirates for our State of the Union viewing party. The event is Tuesday, January 24th in WNYC's The Greene Space - stay tuned for ticket information.

The Story Pirates work with kids to write stories, then turn them into plays and musicals. Here are last year's results.

This year we're asking both kids and adults to answer the question:

If you were giving the 2012 State of the Union speech, what would you tell the country?

Parents, have your kids write their answer to the question. Teachers, work with your students. And adults, if you were standing at the podium, tell us what you'd say.

Submit your story in the form below. The deadline is midnight on Sunday, January 15th.
