This New Sounds focuses on music that evokes a specific place.  These artists have painted soundscapes for listeners.  We'll hear from composer John Luther Adams (especially inspired by Alaska - where he has lived for decades) and also from composer/tuba player Tom Heasley.  Icelandic composer Johann Johannsson also presents an image of his native country.
