On this edition of America Abroad, we head to front lines of the European debt crisis to ask, How did we get here? In Rome, we talk to people who are daring to question the professional caste system that is hampering growth. And we travel to the mountains of northwest Greece to speak to those who have benefited from EU funding - and are now feeling the pinch. We also explore the evolution of the European Union over sixty years, from a basic agreement on sharing coal and steel among a few states after WWII, to the economic and political union we know today.
