Nina Arianda and Hugh Dancy on "Venus in Fur"

Thursday, December 01, 2011

Nina Arianda and Hugh Dancy talk about their roles in the Manhattan Theatre Club’s new Broadway production of David Ives’ “Venus in Fur.” Arianda plays Vanda, a talented young actress determined to land the lead in a play based on the erotic novel, Venus in Fur. Her audition for the playwright/director, played by Dancy, becomes an electrifying game of cat and mouse, blurring the lines between fantasy and reality, seduction and power, love and sex. It's playing at the Manhattan Theatre Club.

Did I hear Leonard suggest not only "Venus in Furs" & "Venus in Fur" but "Venus Inferred"?
