Brian's comment about liberals not wanting to follow progressive programming after the fall of Air America indicates his lack of knowledge. Fact is that that AM 1600 continues with a full day and night of progressive radio which I and many others continue to listen to regularly. They are WNYC competitors at certain times of the day. Also I personally listen to progressive radio from all over the country either on my computer or IPOD. Yes progressive radio is alive and thriving all across the country. Shame on you, Brian Lehrer for not knowing that.
how about http://www.democracynow.org/ has 950 radio and TV stations. so stop the BS
I am a progressive and registered Democrat. I am vehemently anti-Bachmann's political stance. However, I am also a woman, and I don't think that domestic rape is a joke. It is not only conservatives who find this comment misogynist.
I love WNYC and NPR as much as anyone, but non-partisan? Hmmmm . . .
I love you, Brian. (I'm a teacher.) Dear Marc, Every morning for as many years as you had on AirAmerica, my niece and I listened, laughed and yelled as we drove to school. Everyone of my Irish Catholic family pined for you as AirAmerica made a mess of your programs. We got iPads and WTF. xxxooo
