MTA workers were out pumping water from the subway yard to get the system up and running. But there is only so much water they can get rid of. You can see more pics at the MTA flickr page.

Im listening to Bloomberg right now taking very irritated that he just suggested that we "walk to work" or "take a cab"!!! Not all of us live within walking distance or can afford to take a cab!!! This is NYC! We rely on public transportation!
