The U.S. women's soccer team has advanced to the finals of the World Cup, after trouncing France in the semifinals, 3-1.

It's the first time the U.S. women's team has made it to the World Cup finals since 1999.

The World Cup final is Sunday and the U.S. will play Japan or Sweden in Frankfurt, Germany.
