Eilen Jewell, Queen of the Minor Key

Eilen Jewell and her band performs songs from her new album “Queen of the Minor Key.” Her songs are dark and sometimes haunted,  and the album includes surf guitar, pedal steel and upright bass. “Queen of the Minor Key” will be released June 28.

LOVE this sound! I don't know what Carbo expects from her interviews, but I find Eilen charming and her music fabulous.

Nothing like a good PR person to push for an interview on WNYC - Jewel is second only to Barbara Sinatra in verbal skills...only this one speaks much too much about nothing at all...she was right when she said she had no space in her head - I recommend she fill it with Music 101 to at least to learn the difference between minor and major keys. Thanks Lenny for helping her out there.
