Maya Lin on Nature and Inspiration

"A lot of times my outdoor works are based solely with the earth," Maya Lin said recently.  Easy to see the connections, with her undulating forms and sustainable materials.

The artist and architect Maya Lin talked about her career, from designing the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., to her earth sculpture, Storm King Wavefield, her design for the new Museum of Chinese in America, and other projects.
