Are Egyptians surprised that Egypt hasn't shown up in the nytimes for the last month?

Can one call what's going on in Egypt as a revolution? If the rebels in Libya win, that will be a revolution. It seems that history has shown that armed rebellion has been the key to overthrowing a system (USSR, Cuba). Look at Russia. Putin is KGB.
