I found Brian's comment that "...women are afraid to meet someone online because he may turn out to be a serial killer and men are afraid to meet women online because they may meet someone fat." somewhat disturbing.
Really? The worst scenario women face in online dating is getting hacked to death and the worst scenario men face is *shudder* being seen in public with a fat girl? Comparing fat women with homocidal sociopaths is insensitive. There are plenty of crazy thin women out there for men to be afraid of. ha ha

I just checked HBO's schedule on my TV for tonight and "When Strangers Click" is not listed. Is it on HBO-1 or HBO-2? And what time do the filmmakers say this film is scheduled for tonight? Maybe a Time/Warner Cable error?

I met my current husband online on a cultural dating website (J-date style), and the transition to face to face was very easy, because we already had a similar background to join us (and to act as a pre-screening mechanism.)

The cultural community was small enough to network for background information, so knowing that there were no major issues, the rest was up to in person chemistry.

This is reminding me of the small yet extraordinary documentary "CATFISH"...
