NY State taxes fund NY City Public Schools? Where does NY 'state' get its revenue? New York City, of course! So let NYC keep its money and spend it how it wants. Leave the State out of it.

These two flunkies are exactly the reason why NY has gotten to the disastrous point it has.
They and all our other 'legislators' have to realize that New Yorkers are being bled dry, this is unsustainable, and just because things have been done this way 'forever' does not mean it should continue this way.
You can hear the fear of exposure to their corrupt ways in their voices.
It's a new era - deal with it!
