RIP, my old friend. I never knew him but he'll always be in my life. When I was twelve I used to listed to my big brother's vinyl "transformer". Each time I had a class of music in the school (you know, the teacher always used to play Beethoven, Bach, Vivaldi, etc) and I played my vinyl with their admiration; I boy with 12 or 13 listen to Lou Reed. Now, at my 45, I keep lisneting the vinyl (mew copy).Greeting from Madrid, Lou, and enjoy your new life. RIP.
