JetBlue Has Soaring Losses Following Blizzard

JetBlue lost $30 million as a result of a flurry of flight cancellations stemming from the Dec. 26 blizzard.


The New York-based airline canceled 1,400 flights in the five days before, during and after the storm. Because the vast number of cancelled flights were packed, the company experienced a 3.7 percent rise in traffic for December.
