The Mix: Rut or Recovery For Recent Grads?

Friday, December 17, 2010

Welcome to It's A Free Country's The Mix, where we take some of the notable clips and other voices found on WNYC this week and mix 'em up. This week we highlight young callers and contributors to the Rut or Recovery project. Brian Lehrer hosted an open phones for recent graduates on employment, financial pressures, and how the Great Recession is treating them. While the job market is tough -- 500 applications and one interview! -- there are also signs of hope, from those striking out on their own to those willing to simply wait it out in the faith that better days lie ahead. Enjoy, and be sure to check out lots more on the Rut or Recovery homepage»»
