More than 100 concerts, dance and theater performances, sponsored by the City Parks Foundation, will occur this summer in 26 parks in the five boroughs. The performances celebrate community and city collaborations to clean up neighborhood parks.

A tree grows in ... the Bronx

One-hundred-year-old trees provide shade for the Junior Rangers learning about ecology in the park's summer program. Trees are by far the park's most striking asset. As many as 23 varieties make up the 2,500 trees in the park.
