Morgan Bank, 60 Wall Street.To me, the crude, chunky top of the 1988 Morgan Bank and the dense, crowding tower epitomize all the swaggering, suspender-wearing, cigar-chomping fund managers who kick puppies, cheat on their wives, and short-change the little kids at their lemonade stand. Part of the problem is that, in a dense area, it is super, super dense, with air rights transferred from across the street. A colossus of this size just naturally hates “the little people.”.
