The Tavis Smiley Show : About

Airs Saturdays at 11pm on AM 820

Each week, Tavis Smiley welcomes a variety of guests to an exchange of views, information, and insight. The Tavis Smiley Show offers a unique blend of news and newsmakers in expanded conversations on topics ranging from presidential power to reparations for slavery, from campaign finance reform to miscegenation in music videos — all with a special focus on black America.

Smiley's guest roster has featured former President Bill Clinton, Fidel Castro, and Pope John Paul II. He also shares the mic with regular guest commentators Cornel West, Connie Rice, J.C.
