    Ears and Brainwaves

Host David Garland offers songs to please the ears and stimulate the brainwaves, from Norwegian Heidi Torsvik, the Swedish/Finnish project Maailma, Chicagoan Anni Rossi, and collaborations from the new compilation "Dark Was the Night": Dirty Projectors with David Byrne, The Books with Jose Gonzalez, Connor Oberst with Gillian Welch, Antony singing Bob Dylan, and Sufjan Stevens' marvelous, over-achieving arrangement of a song by Castanets.
