Sylvain ChauveauSylvain Chauveau
French composer Sylvain Chauveau creates music of beautiful austerity. It sounds private but not withdrawn; the listener waits with Chauveau for the next note or chord to emerge and unfold, carried along by gentle anticipation. Sylvain first visited Spinning On Air four years ago, and now returns to play us a set of beautiful pieces for solo piano, and to talk about his music and motivations with host David Garland.

fantastic show! What version of the Turanagalia Symphony was that, and what were the pieces by the singer just before - and was there yet another piece before the symphony excerpt?
