During 2007, four guitarist-composers visited Spinning On Air to perform their explorations and innovations. James Blackshaw, Peter Walker, Glenn Jones, and Sean Smith are each contributing uniquely to the repertoire of virtuoso instrumental works for acoustic guitar, blending folk and experimental music. Host David Garland presents highlights from their visits to the WNYC Studio, and offers a bonus solo guitar "Pet Sounds" cover performed for the show in 2005 by M. Ward.
