Quinn Walker
Sunday, January 27, 2008
Quinn Walker is excited. He’s excited to perform music: he’s a one-man band, singing, playing guitar, electronics, and drums all at once. He’s excited to write songs: a prolific composer, his first commercial album is a double CD set culled from the six or more albums he’s self-produced in just the last couple of years. Quinn Walker joins host David Garland to talk about his music and to give the first-ever radio performance of his exciting and surprising songs.

Arborea
Sunday, January 20, 2008
As Arborea, Buck and Shanti Curran often make music in an old cabin on the shore of a lake in Maine. But this time they bring their string instruments, voices, and delicate, pine needle songs to WNYC for this in-studio performance on Spinning On Air. The snow is deep in Maine, but the music and conversation are warm here in New York City as host David Garland welcomes Arborea.
