Argentinian multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer Juana Molina sets up in the WNYC studio to perform and talk about her music. A unique one-woman band, Juana layers sound live, using guitar, synthesizers and her voice to create unusual, elaborate, intricate,
catchy songs she sings in Spanish. Juana used to be the star of her own comedy TV show in Argentina, but, as she tells host David Garland, music is her real passion. She'll speak of her transition from successful comedic impersonator and character actor, to what for her was a harder role: being herself on stage as a musician. This show first aired Oct. 8, 2006.
