  • Holcombe Waller

Holcombe Waller has a graceful, emotional way of singing. A songwriter based in Portland, Oregon, Holcombe has recently been presenting his theater piece “Patty Heart Townes,” a work with costumes, projections, and the songs of Patty Griffin and Townes Van Zandt. Holcombe joins host David Garland to talk about and perform a few songs from “Patty Heart Townes,” and to present his own touching, lyrical songs sumptuously arranged for a trio of string players, piano, banjo, and guitar.
