(David Garland/WNYC)
Sometimes it feels like the swirling currents of current events are pushing and pulling us off course. We need a haven from the tumult; a quiet place to go. We need to find room to think. Music can be that place. David Garland offers pieces by Max Richter, Carl Orff, Pete Seeger, Kitty Brazelton, and anonymous music from centuries ago, which might clear your mind, and stimulate it, providing room to think.

What was the last piece played? Is there a playlist online?
I was buying into the theme of this show and really enjoying it until this Turn, Turn Turn medlley. Honestly this is creating more static in my head than if the Byrds version were played just once. Why play 2 versions of one song to 'clear out the static'? It seems to be making only more.
The music at 8:15-8:20 time Sunday May 6 is incredible. What is this?
what is the wonderful playing now at 8;15...20 PM sunday?
thank you !
