Kevin Barker's new songs are straightforward and uncluttered observations about love, walking, cats, and mice. Known for his recordings as Currituck County, and as an in-demand guitarist with Antony, Devendra, Vashti, and Joanna Newsom, Barker brings an open heart and skilled fingers to his gentle songs. Host David Garland welcomes Barker back to the show for an in-studio performance and conversation. "Family Jams," Barker's documentary film about Devendra Banhart, Newsom and others has its New York premier Friday, Feb. 26 at 92YTribeca.
Kevin's film "Family Jams" shows Fri, Feb 26 at 8:00pm, 92YTribeca Screening Room, 92YTribeca, 200 Hudson Street
