Olivia Chaney
This episode was first broadcast April 4, 2010.
Sunday, August 22, 2010
Olivia Chaney's voice is subtle and virtuosic. It carries listeners delicately into powerful emotions. Accompanying herself on guitar, Indian harmonium, and piano, Olivia reaches back to British folk songs, and forward to her own original songs to make music that's timeless and immediate. This London-based performer/songwriter joins host David Garland to talk about and perform her music in the WNYC Studio.

I couldn't find a site to purchase/download any mp3s of her music which was beautiful.
I have played London Town over & over.
Put us out of our misery and guide us to a site where we can purchase her haunting music.
I heard most of the show, and enjoyed Olivia's music immensely. And I agree with the above comment about the harmonium. How long will Olivia be in the US, and will she be performing anywhere in the NJ/PA area?
Is there a CD that Olivia Chaney has out
that I can purchase ?
I tuned into your performance by chance and could not have been more delighted. You remind me of Judy Collins, only better. My sincerest compliments. P.S. Your harmonium playing is hypnotic.
