Olivia Chaney's voice is subtle and virtuosic. It carries listeners
delicately into powerful emotions. Accompanying herself on guitar,
Indian harmonium, and piano, Olivia reaches back to British folk songs, and forward to her own original songs to make music that's timeless and immediate. This London-based performer/songwriter joins host David Garland to talk about and perform her music in the WNYC Studio.

What is the title of first song ?
I love the song very much.
It remainds me of the days I stayed U.K..
She does have an EP out, which I bought at the stunning concert she did in the same swing through New York in which she recorded this session.
Alas, it appears she isn't selling it from her myspace page (http://www.myspace.com/oliviachaney), or from anywhere I can find. But go to the myspace page to see and hear more songs from this wonderful artist--the most exciting new folk artist out of England in recent years, to my ears.
Olivia has such a beautiful voice and accompanies herself wonderfully. I wonder if she has a recording out and, if so, where to find it.
lovely, thank you. just discovered your very interesting show
