Two of host David Garland's favorite musical discoveries of the year--songwriters Daniela Gesundheit and Dan Goldman--come from Toronto to the WNYC Studio to perform and talk about their music. Each accompanies the other in sets of songs by Snowblink (Daniela) and Luxury Pond (Dan), and joining them both is multi-instrumentalist Caley Monahon-Ward. Musically rich and lyrically compelling, the songs are about wearing antlers, planting bulbs, being a shark's brain, and orbiting planets, as well as love and friendship.
