Quinn Walker

« previous episode | next episode »

Sunday, December 14, 2008

Quinn Walker is excited. He’s excited to perform music: he’s a one-man band, singing, playing guitar, electronics, and drums all at once. He’s excited to write songs: a prolific composer, his first commercial album is a double CD set culled from the six or more albums he’s self-produced in just the last couple of years. Quinn Walker joins host David Garland to talk about his music and to give the first-ever radio performance of his exciting and surprising songs. (Originally aired Jan. 27, 2008.)

Hoist on your on petard. petard was a military engine used in the 16 and 17th century. basically a bomb. so to be hoist by your own petard was to blow yourself up. could be said of a lot of investment professionals these days and the previous singer.

So far.... just horrible.

This is perhaps the danger of the 100% solo performing artist... no check on delusions?
