Some songs sound like we're overhearing someone talk to themselves, or maybe think out loud. Through lyrics, tone, and vocal quality they convey a sense of shared privacy. In this show host David Garland lets us eavesdrop on some creative and ruminative songs that are new, by Elephant Micah, Mike Bones, Visitations, Jakob Olausson, Ed Askew, June Madrona, a few old ones by Michael Yonkers, The Incredible String Band, and Joni Mitchell.
