Common Rotation Party!

« previous episode | next episode »

Sunday, December 30, 2007

Common Rotation is a band of three old friends who have lately been touring peoples’ living rooms to perform their enjoyable songs and gorgeous harmonies. Join the fun as Common Rotation gathers in host David Garland’s living room for a homefried hootenanny broadcast. The band features the voice and guitar of chief songwriter Eric Kufs; the trumpet, flugelhorn, and banjo of Jordan Katz; and vocals and sundries by Adam Busch. Adam’s also an actor known to fans of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” as evil genius Warren Mears. Also joining the party is Amber Benson, who played Tara on “Buffy.”

Common Rotation is a fan of geography. I know this for fact. Sure you could dispute it but you'd fail for sure. I've broken bread with this clan in several time zones and one thing that's always a certain is that discussion abounds when the core 3 of Common Rotation gather. All are story tellers and all know the art of the pause.
Some musical outfits are good with speeding up the moment or shattering it all together. Common Rotation is partially about emphasizing contemplation and should be commended for it. What better place than here, a website that sells ad space to snow globe retailers.
