21-year old songwriter Devendra Banhart joins host David Garland for an in-studio performance of his recent songs. With a unique delivery and sound, Devendra's voice is startling and fascinating listeners at his performances and on his new CD, "Oh Me, Oh My." Othermusic.com describes the CD as "an amazing collection of songs.... The lyrics are particularly brilliant, vaguely surrealistic and idiosyncratic with sinister moments, yet tender ones as well that seem personal and affecting. ...a major new talent." Also on the program, some music that's almost not there: subdued, shy instrumentals by Mick Turner and by Will Oldham. Plus songs by Vashti Bunyan, Shearwater, and something new from Lisa Germano!
