Iggy Pop

Punk godfather Iggy Pop spent much of this decade reuniting and rocking with his raw and influential group, The Stooges. But his new solo album takes its cue from New Orleans jazz, French pop, and author Michel Houellebecq’s 2005 novel The Possibility of an Island. Pop joins us to talk about crafting Préliminaires.

Could you please ask Iggy if he drums occasionally? He was a drummer early in his carrer.
iggy, your "station in life" is wherever you want it to be. much love!
If Iggy Pop likes Michel Houllebecq, he should definitely read his novel Elementary Particles. Excellent and rather sordid... required reading.
