You can't forget Commander Cody's , Hot Rod Lincoln ..... a classic that tells a good story, one of my all time favorites
Wow. They sound like Poi Dog Pondering (the 1980s) but even more amateurish and, unfortunately, less charmingly so.
Question to the band in regards to giving their debut album away for free-are you insane? In this economy?
Wow! Why?
Bruce Springsteen has many well know car/driving songs (Pink Cadillac, Thunder Road Born to Run), but among his best car/driving songs is "Open All Night" a B-side rockabilly rocker that clearly is paying homage to Chuck Berry's "Promised Land" and "You Can't Catch Me".
From this song, a good playlist would jump to the Dave Edmunds/Rockpile track (Bruce written) "From Small Thing Big Things Come' followed by Rockpile's own "Crawling from the Wreckage".
I hear your reasons, but it's still insane. An artist has to eat.
You know what I like? I like it when I go to a club to see a band, and the singer actually sounds as good as the musicians he's playing with.
SO SO GOOD
See him at a club and even solo you will not be disappointed
What a great talent in Jesse Rifkin and the band sounds so awesome & tight for only having played together for one session before the show. Wailing Walls music is so powerful and spiritual. I think it's great that they are giving it away for free, so that during this economy so many people can hear it and be uplifted by Wailing Wall's music.
