Julia Fischer Live

Monday, November 24, 2008

A Bach recording by rising German violinist Julia Fischer is one of the recommendations in Tom Moon's 1,000 Recordings to Hear Before You Die. She has also been named "Artist of the Year" in the prestigious Classic FM Gramophone Awards and just last week she signed a recording contract with Decca. Today, she performs live, and talks about her recent moonlighting stint as a professional pianist.

What piece did Julia just play?

  • [2] Soundcheck from Soho November 24, 2008 - 02:52PM

That was Bach's Sonata in G minor, 1st Movement

I was interested to hear the segment of today's Soundcheck program featuring Julia Fisher, but the file on this page is not JULIA FISHER LIVE.

The topic, here, is rating symphony orchestras worldwide.

Would you please make the file correction...

    Thank you.
