During his 50-year career, Quincy Jones has worked with everyone from Frank Sinatra to Puff Daddy, founded Vibe magazine, collected countless awards, and earned a reputation as a jazz giant. (Somewhere in there, he found time to make possible an album called "Thriller.") Jones joins us on the occasion of his new book, "The Complete Quincy Jones: My Journey & Passions."

I think Quincy Jones founded Vibe Magazine, not Vice Magazine.

As a consumer of Black Flag albums when everyone else was grooving to Michael Jackson, I find myself pleasantly surprised to say cheers HR but damn, Mr. Jones... what an astonishing talent you are, what a gift to American music and what a pleasure to hear your interview. Thank you sir. Good luck with the Secretary of the arts!

I'd like to see Quincy Jones appointed US Ambassador of the Arts.

Arts are as critical to us as human beings as anything else. Please establish this position!

For the past few days I've been listening to Quincy Jones's "Talkin' Verve." It's SO lounge, I LOVE it!

I am a public school teacher and know that Klein has caused nothing but damage to the public school system in NYC. Please do not let this continue.

    Sincerely,

    Helen Klassen

The Arts really need to be put back into oour schools and our theatres and museums. But especially our schools which create a sence of pride, discipline, and commitment that can change children's lives more so than sports.

Many great nations have a Mininster of the Arts. We are the greatest nation and should have something like unto it as well.
