Does anyone else hear Television in this band?
Sonic Youth, too... and the slide guitar really hit a nerve....leg started twitching. Vocally even Tom Verlaine is blushing, but they've got my number.
Middletown U8 Soccer says "We be lovin Sam Champion!" They also hear just a touch of Remy Zero in the song they're playing right now.
You can watch some older video (2006) of Sam Champion at: electromedia.blip.tv
Does the world really need another boring rock band like this?
The world absolutely needs an innovative and smart rock band like Sam Champion - they are amazing.
