Bloomingdales, meet the music industry
After eight days, another New York Fashion Week comes to a close tonight in Bryant Park. So it’s with that in mind that we look at an unusual marketing campaign that’s coming to a department store near you. This fall, Bloomingdale’s is hoping that a star-studded cast of musicians will be what’s needed to lure recession-weary shoppers into its stores. Joining us to explain what this is about is Stuart Elliott, Advertising Columnist at the New York Times.
